England is a country which is located in the north-western side of Europe. England is situated on the island of Great Britain which is made up of three countries; England, Wales and Scotland. England is the second largest country on the island, it has been a formalized nation since 55 BC when it was invaded by the Romans. However, it's still unclear whether Julius Caesar who was then the Roman monarch extended his rule over England. Sources claim though that the first official ruler of England was King Egbert.
